Beginnings
The best art is supposed to come from inspiration. My inspiration comes from novels, poetry, short stories, and anything else I can get my hands on to read. Basically, my two biggest hobbies are reading and art.
The other day I was wasting time on google looking for artwork and jewelry based on some of my favorite books. I didn’t find much. To me (a huge book lover) I found this kind of shocking. It didn’t bother me too much, because I draw and paint in my spare time, anyways. So my plan was make some lit-art and call it a day.
So I did.
And I liked it.
And my neighbor liked it.
And her friend liked it.
And I decided that I should start a blog, take some pictures, and see what happens. At the very least I’ll have a nice online home for my art. At the very most, someone out there who really wants a piece of art based on their favorite book will have a chance to come and see what I do.
Hopefully I can reach out to the 6 or 7 bookworms out there, who love art, and supporting individual creation.
